About Me.

I enjoy the thrill of adventure. No matter whether this is discovering a new country or being at the frontier in research. I do not back away from it. Even when things get difficult (or very cold). So far I have studied in three different countries and planning on making it more!

I think that, generally speaking, there are two kinds of designers. First you have the problem-driven designers. They take a look into society, searching for flaws and opportunities. They try to solve those and thereby intend to improve society. They try to make our current world a better place to live. Secondly you have the curious-driven designers. They constantly question “What if…?” or “Could I…?”  They seek the purpose of their design during or after making. Most of their designs fail, but if one succeeds it is a leap forward. They try to create the future. I belong to the latter category.

I am currently working on:

The automatic quantification of aesthetics in User Interface evaluation.
